Why a Therapist?

As a teen, I volunteered in an assisted living facility which led me to fall in love with meeting new people, hearing life stories, and providing emotional support. I quickly realized my desire to be a therapist and aid people in living a life they truly love.
I found I connected with those reflecting on the burden of losing themselves while joyfully caring for others. Feeling burnt-out from responsibility and facing the impacts.

Outside of Session
When I’m not working, you can find me in the kitchen whipping up a new recipe, watching crime documentaries on the couch with my cat (Juniper!), or having a ”crafternoon” with my closest friends.
I also have a deep love of traveling and often do so alone. I find traveling an opportunity to humble myself, celebrate diversity, and of course eat amazing food! I value my independence and love the deep sense of trust, intuition, and creativity needed as a solo traveler.
Rather I’m doing notes or simply making dinner I am always listening to music. I understand the way music shapes us, connects us, and seems to understand our experiences. I’ve been to many concerts (Elton John was the best!) and love to deep dive into what those around me have been listening too!
